ECH9 is inspired by the 1927 Siège pivotant, also known as LC7, the celebrated swivel armchair designed by Charlotte Perriand for her Paris apartment. In this interpretation of the swivel chair, the armrests pass below the line of the tabletop, facilitating access to the seat. The collection always features an adaptive backrest and is available in a fully
removable-cover version.

A modern and essential line with great dynamism.
Adaptive backrest
for maximum comfort.
The backrest with flexible movement adapts to the ergonomics of people with different builds and postures, resulting in a comfortable and welcoming experience.
A mechanism with a special spring is the fulcrum of the backrest movement.
Fabric padding completely removable.
The chair is available with fabric upholstery in the practical removable version. It’s an excellent solution that allows you to wash or replace the cover over time. Both the seat and the backrest can be requested in the removable version.
ECH9 is available with armrests,
without armrests, or in the stool version.
Designed to rotate under
every EXTENDO table.
The swivel version of ECH9 with armrests has a backrest line with lumbar support, therefore lower by about 11 cm. than the armless model. Deliberately lower so that during rotation, it can pass under the EXTENDO tabletops. This feature allows for easy sitting and standing without moving the seat backward.
Interchangeable feet
with a click.
Each seat includes a double kit of interchangeable supports: a felt kit for wooden, resin, and ceramic floors, and an additional Teflon kit for carpets and rugs. The foot is composed of a pre-inserted part and an interchangeable part with snap-in fixing.

Each EXTENDO table or chair collection is configurable in dozens of combinations. By mixing the color palette of the various base, top and seat materials, you can discover the wide range of possibilities offered by our designers.
ECH9 Materials and surfaces
The R&D team, working with a keen eye on continuous technological and material innovation, has come up with new finishes that make up a rich color palette: alongside shades of gray, natural materials such as solid woods and brass, and finishes derived from nature such as eco-touch composed of cork, linseed oil and jute.
